The Lunar Rock looks great in low light - more greyish, and more greenish in the bright daylight. I could not believe how great it looked and that it was mine for the taking! Do any of you know if its possible to get that (I can get it on the TRD Sport, but Im trying to keep the cost down if possible. When I arrived at the dealership to pick it up, it was the first time I had seen a LR 4R for more than 5 seconds. Ive heard multiple people on YouTube say Lunar Rock will be available on the SR5, yet I havent seen any physical proof of this. Plus, I got $14,000 for a trade-in that I was hoping to get $10,000 for. I paid $2,000 above MSRP ($54K) which I was fine with since they could have sold it for $5K to $10K more within a week. I happened to be the first one to inquire on the day it arrived. I got lucky in May of 2021 when a LR Pro showed up at local dealer and it was no longer claimed. Then I saw a second LR 4R pass in front of me for a couple of seconds and I was hooked. Then in passing one day I finally saw a LR 4R on the road and thought it looked pretty good. I had only seen one Lunar Rock Pro Tacoma at a dealership and I was not impressed with the color at all. I originally wanted a MGM ORP then decided to go for a MGM Pro, but I had two deals for a MGM Pro fall thru while I was planning to head to the dealerships (both bought by someone else before I could arrive). I think in 21 or 22 you could buy a Trail model in Cement. I really like the flat colors like Cement, Quick Sand, Calvary Blue, Army Green and Lunar Rock. I don't see that many Lunar Rocks despite them being on the OR models for the past two years. Silver and the MGM colors are fine, but they are everywhere on all types of vehicles. I have a 21 Lunar Rock Pro and still really love the color. I’m only getting 3 options: moonroof, sliding rear cargo deck, and all weather cargo cover. Anyway, the young woman got 2 key fobs with her ORP yesterday also, as a data point. My wife is laughing at me changing my mind. But the Lunar Rock really looked good especially with the contrast to the silver front and rear bumpers. I really like the Metallic Silver and it is classic. The delivery date is April 7 instead of next Friday (2 additional weeks). This ORP has the sliding rear cargo deck already ordered, which I wanted. He agreed to delete the Predator Step ($899) I don’t want and the $699 Toyoguard Platinum. He had another Lunar Rock which became pre sold after last night. My dealer happened to have a Lunar Rock on the way not yet pre-sold. For some reason I felt like I wanted Lunar Rock now. I made the mistake of dropping by dealer yesterday while a young woman (probably 22-25) was taking delivery of her Lunar Rock ORP, with her dad. It is fine.Ok, my new Metallic Silver ORP is due here next Friday. including some along the lines of 'cute' and 'girly' from a few women. I have gotten a number of (always favourable) comments. This is what appealed to me once I saw it in person. The LR (Unlike the photos.) has the benefit of the Gray (+ non metallic) plus a bit of the olive drab feel. I do not think classic defenders or Land Cruisers were ever made in Black! the Taco's green is a shade too dark and shows swirls like crazy - not great for an off roader. I was all over army green until I saw it in person. I have a thing for Army Green - it started from the classic Land Rover defenders. (AND mostly - there are already WAY too many cements out there!) I really like the non metallic Grays - Cement would rank higher, but is is (lightly) metallic and it is too much like silver. My ranking is LR (of course) Cav Blue, Army Green, QSand, Cement. I think Cav Blue is one of the best colors. Most bet against Cav Blue (it did not sell) and I understand that this now commands the highest premium.
